Meet Dr. Ellys Fernandez
Dr. Ellys Fernandez is a General Dentist who graduated from the Iberoamerican University with Honors in her native Dominican Republic. She’s a 2nd generation dentist; her mother is a Dentist, and her father is a Dental Lab Technician.
Following graduation from Dental School, she worked as a dentist in her country until she moved to the United States, where she completed a General Practice Residency at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.
This advanced education included additional training in the following:
- Emergency Dentistry
- Oral Surgery
- Restorative Dentistry
- Periodontics
- Endodontics
- Prosthetics
After her residency, Dr. Fernandez worked as an Associate Dentist in Ohio and Florida; she enjoys treating patients in all phases of Dentistry. She recognizes the value of continued education and strives to educate her patients in dental health and care. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Fernandez is an active member of several prestigious dental organizations, including the:
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- Florida Dental Association (FDA)
- Atlantic Coast District Dental Association (ACDDA)
- Seabreeze Study Club
In her free time, she enjoys working out, playing golf, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
